Default newbie from minnesota

am new to the hobby and filled with questions. i have a meade 5 inch refractor and feel fairly comfortable with it. before buying better ep should i consider replacing the diagonal first. any oplnion will help, thank you.

Depends on what diagonal you already have. What EPs do you have? Actually what entire kit do you have? a 5" refractor is a pretty serious scope for a hobby type observer, and a great observing tool but more info would help.

I have 10mm 15mm and 25mm vixen npl. also meade 10mm,25mm wide angle that came with the scope, the diagonal is the one that came with it. just trying to learn as i go along. any advise will help,thank you.
